I hope to major in political science and I am an Asian American. I plan on applying to Temple, George Mason, Penn State, and University of Pittsburgh.

You could possibly get into temple (with a good essay and several recommendation letters), but all the others are out of reach. You should also consider applying to some of the other UP campuses (Bradford, Greensburg, Johnstown, and Titusville), you may have a better shot at one of those schools.

You"ll definitely get into Temple, and University of Pittsburgh. I would think that if you can at least bring up your sats to about 1150, and take a bunch of ap and honors in 12th grade, and finish off 11th grade with a good gpa ,you would probably get in to Penn State University Park.

Hardcore republican. Rightwing extremist, to the point of fascism.

Johnst, what's your point? BTW, good work w. the dems. My friend worked as a field coordinator (30+ hours a week! HOLY! She's still in HS)...pulled some long long long hours...she was so sad when Kerry lost...:(

What are my chances at George Mason? My brother goes there which might help me a bit.
