I feel like I'm not going to get in because my EC's are weak. I used to play soccer for about seven years (sadly my parents made me quit even though I loved it so much~ sigh Asian parents), piano for 10 years (quit because I wasn't improving after about grade 7/8), and play the flute for our school's most competitive band group the wind ensemble (which I got in as a sophomore as a 1st flute). I also volunteer with an outside group not affiliated with the school and we play for the elderly at nursing homes.

Overall, these don't seem like great accomplishments. I do have something in mind that I want to try out that may umph up my game a bit (not sure if it will, but it's worth a shot), but overall I feel like my EC's are weak. I played soccer until sophomore year, but when I quit and wasn't playing anything this year (junior) I realized that by joining all the generic clubs at my school (Model UN, Key Club, International Club, etc.) it really wouldn't give me an edge over other students because there are hundreds of thousands (possibly millions) of other kids doing these clubs across the country and possibly around the world.

Also, my GPA is about a 3.75 ish and my SAT score (According to practices) is around the 2100's but I took this practice test about 4 months ago. I am taking the January one this week, and I'm pretty nervous, but if all goes well my score will be among the 2250's after retaking it a few times if it doesn't go well in January.

I really want to get into Barnard (I will be visiting them this spring break but as far as what I have read online, I love the sound of the environment, education, social life, and atmosphere in general. I also might do one of their summer programs). Please be honest, I don't mind if you tell me that I have no chance.
