<p>I have 2 strong essays to choose from. </p>

<p>GREAT Rec's: One from a teacher who said I was her favorite student and the best this year. And another from a teacher who is famous for writing very good recs.</p>

<p>EC: Founded a chapter for Oxfam at my school. It’s a non profit international aid organization. We raised over 2 thousand dollars, spread the word, and appeared in the school news paper.

<p>Work Experience:
Volunteered for the Smithsonian for a summer
Volunteered at the NIH (still employed)
Volunteered at the National Zoo (still employed)</p>

<p>I have 270+ hours.</p>

<p>I’ve taken 7 AP: got four 5’s and three 4’s.
I’ve always taken honors courses if they were available.
GPA: 3.6
Weighted GPA: 4.21</p>

<p>My major is most likely Political Science or International Relations.</p>

<p>First of all, you have two excellent essays from which to choose. (That sort of thing matters at Fordham.) Second, everybody knows what Oxfam is, especially the Jesuits. Third, I think Fordham would be glad to have you - excellent grades, scores and a lot of community service hours. You should think about the Rose Hill campus, however. Especially with those interests.</p>

<p>Just as a note, political science is offered at both campuses, and we have an International Studies major that is offered just at the Lincoln Center campus.</p>

<p>Go with the RH campus. What’s your class rank? You have a very good shot of getting in. Is Fordham your first choice?</p>

<p>Maybe you can continue to volunteer at a Zoo if you like it so much (Bronx Zoo), which is adjacent to the campus. Also the RH campus is beautiful.</p>
