I applied for the School of Computer Science at CMU (major in AI and Robotics). I know that this school is VERY selective, so this is my reach school.
I hope the following information can help you guys answer my question!

Grade: 12, Senior in high school
class rank: 9/204
GPA (unweighted): 3.65
GPA (weighted): 4.0
SAT scores: 650(math), 630(writing), 610(reading)
SAT Subject scores: 640(math2), 620(physics)
Classes: have taken ALL honors available
AP classes: only AP Calculus (score:5) taken junior year
Calculus 2 (taken at the local community college; I received a 94 as my final grade)

Strings Orchestra: violin for 6 years (historian)
Jazz Band: electric violin
Technology Student Association: Treasurer
VEX Robotics Team: Team Leader; programmer

Track and Field: distance runner, 3 seasons

My school ONLY offers AP English, AP Calc AB, AP US History, and AP Biology. For this reason, I have only taken 1 AP class. For my senior year, I took the next math class at community college. I am doing an independent study for Advanced Robotics, where I experiment and teach myself new things. I have done quite a bit of community service, and have done many extra curricular activities consistently throughout high school. Also, I am a girl (if that helps at all)

I had an Alumni Interview for CMU about a month ago, and it went quite well.

I know that I am probably under-qualified for SCS at CMU compared to most other applicants, but I want to know if I have some chance at getting accepted. Please be honest--if you think my chances are slim, then don't think I will feel bad! I really want an honest opinion.

Thank You! If you need any additional information about me, then please feel free to ask!
