UC Berkeley
Columbia College
Wash U
Brown
U of Chicago
U of Michigan
U of Washington
Barnard College
Tufts
NYU

Thanks for your input!

Hey Anna, how’s it going.
Your test scores seem high enough to get into some of the colleges you listed but I feel like your course loads are too weak. It might be just me b/c I have an EXTREMELY (excessively, really) competitive class. Other than that, you seem pretty good.

UC Berkeley-Match
Columbia College-Reach
Wash U-wash u in st. louis? reach
Brown-Reach
U of Michigan-safety
Tufts-uhhh match?
NYU-safety

Chance me!

Thanks for the response! Any other opinions?

Unless you pushed yourself for the courseload, it seems little weak (like what fbplaya said)

I currently have only 4 AP classes cumulative, but that’s because I couldn’t fit any more into my schedule, or the class was already full.

Other than that, it looks fairly good.

UC Berkeley-Match
Columbia College- Reach/High Reach (Columbia is unpredictable. Unless you have an OUTSTANDING EC as well as grades, it’s most likely reach/high reach)
Wash U- High Match
Brown- Reach/Low Reach
U of Michigan- Low Match/Safety
Tufts- Match
NYU- Safety

P.S. I didn’t take the essay and rec into account. Anyone can say that their essay is great, and most people assume that they will get a great recommendation. Not saying that you won’t have one (you probably have an amazing one), but some people guess wrong and then never realizes that their teacher wrote a decent rec (probably my case).

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1008044-chances-me-2.html

Columbia is going to be a fairly high reach, no matter what your test scores/ stats/ ECs are. However, I think you will be in at nearly all of your other schools.

Thanks for the input, we’ll see what happens!

I would chance you guys back buuuut I’m not really well versed in college acceptance rates…

Your course load is fine

UC Berkeley-Low Reach
Columbia College- Mid/High Reach
Wash U- Low Reach
Brown- Mid/High Reach
UMichigan- Match
Tufts- Match/High Match
NYU- High Match

Good luck :)

Chance back please!
