I want to apply to Cornell for engineering ED, and also would like some tips on how to boost my chances of getting in. Thanks a ton! :D

Bump, sorry I kinda need help

bump, will chance back

Judging based off your course schedule and other stats, I think you have a good shot at Cornell ED. For engineering you’ll need a higher math score on the SAT.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1690073-give-it-the-panda-a-chance-get-a-panda-chance-back.html#latest

I think that you have the academics that a lot of people will have applying to cornell, so what you really shouild do to make yourself a strong candidate is write a great essay and really focus on what your passions are. (REACH just like everyone else)

Cornell ED: Waitlisted

Definitely aim for a higher SAT or ACT. Engineering at Cornell is crazy competitive; too many applicants with 2250+/34+ applying.

Can you chance me for my NYU stern and UC thread??

@InsideOutTwinkie‌ Do you have a link i can follow?

Thanks guys! My hope is to get my SAT 1 score up to 2250+. Sadly i won’t be able to put down the SAT II scores that i’ll be getting in december :c.

I also forgot to mention that I did an internship at a prestigious software company over the summer if that helps my chances, for reasons, i can’t mention the name.

Oh another thing, do you guys think i should apply ed for the college of arts and sciences or college of engineering to boost my chances? My planned major is physics and computer science,

If you get deferred, then you should have a reasonably good chance of getting accepted again (you would be able to submit better subject test scores, which would demonstrate improvement). I don’t know enough about Cornell to determine which college is best for you to apply to. So, there are two tracks for you: either get accepted ED (yay!) or get deferred, update with better subject test scores and senior yr grades, and then hopefully get accepted.

Oh wow i’m late to reply to this thread. Well i got rejected ED cornell. I’m going to Georgia Tech in the Honors Program though!
