Hello! I’m planning to apply this fall to transfer for fall 2019. I’m just a bit worried because I know the golden four is quite important and I completed one and I’m enrolled in two for this semester and the last one to be completed By next spring. Also my gpa is at a 2.6, not so good I know. I’ll have about 62 credits by the end of next spring. What are my chances? I’m a art major planning to transfer to csulb, my major isn’t mpacted however the school is. Any advice will help. Thanks
This chart may help you determine your chances for the Cal States: https://www2.calstate.edu/attend/counselor-resources/Documents/transfer-2017-admission-impaction-chart.pdf
If you are local, you may have a better chance. Non-local will be a tough admit.
LB is going to be tough with a 2.6.
You should probably target a non-impacted CSU - they will be reflected as ‘state of Ca’ here. Humboldt and SF could do the trick.
