What are my chances? D: Canadian schools and US schools

Hello all!~

I personally feel like I have no future...

But anyway, to start with...

I'm a junior in high school.
My stats:
Class Ranking: 65 out of 665 Last Update: 2/23/2013
Cumulative GPA/Unweighted GPA: 3.0455
Academic Core GPA: 3.4028
Weighted Cumul. GPA: 4.6

I am in the IB (International Baccalaureate) program
AP: I have passed none yet so far... Though I've taken many and passed the classes.
Taken:
9th grade- AP Art History, AP World History
10th grade- AP US History, AP Calculus AB, AP Physics B
11th grade - AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP English Literature
12th grade- AP Calculus BC and AP Computer Science (I am definitely taking these classes)
Summer classes:
Intro to Stats
Developmental Psychology

My grades are A's and B's so I haven't failed any classes so far.

I'm taking the IB Calculus SL exam this year... expecting a 6 or 7.
Testing next year for IB classes: English HL, History HL, Chemistry HL, Biology SL, Spanish SL

I already know which schools I will apply to

Priority schools: University of British Columbia, University of Toronto, McMaster Univeristy and University of Manitoba
I guess these are my safety schools: University of Florida and University of South Florida

I plan on retaking the ACT in April and the SAT for the first time in March and then just in case I fail in... June.

Oh and also,
10th grade: Secretary of SECME (an Engineering club) and Historian of MAO (Mu Alpha Theta: Math Club)
11th grade: Webmaster of NHS (National Honor Society), Secretary of SECME and Historian of MAO
12th grade (I know for sure): Webmaster and Senior Liaison of NHS, Vice President of MAO, Vice President of SECME

Chance me and give me feedback please~

Also, if anyone has summer internships for me in the US anywhere...
I am a Canadian citizen but living legally here. Though I want free housing and meals...

Thank you!

What kind of school would a 3.04 student have a top-10% rank? Plus, how much can you get on the IB? Do you expect to have a 38-40 on the IB (without ToK+EE)? I’ll assume 38-40 on IB for chances.

UBC, Queen’s, Emory, UF and USF take ECs into account.

U Toronto: Safety at 37 on the IB
McMaster: Safety at 37 on the IB
UMB: Safety at 30 on the IB
UBC: Safety at 37 on the IB
Queen’s: Safety at 35 on the IB
Emory: Aim for 2100+ on the SAT/31+ on the ACT for it to be reachable
UF: Aim for 2000+ on the SAT/29+ on the ACT (if you get 37+ on the IB, your UFGPA will be close to 4.0)
USF: Aim for 1800+ on the SAT/26+ on the ACT

With Canadian schools: if you do full IB, the SAT/ACT is not necessary.

I mean, my grade does have 665 students.
Thing is,
In 9th grade: I dropped out from IB Precalculus to regular precalculus. That made my GPA drop from a 4.8 to 3.0… Luckily, I resolved and accustomed to the workload.
In 10th grade: No raise or decline in GPA…
In 11th grade: I passed my midterms and my GPA rose to a 3.04

Sorry but what do you mean by ECs? ><

WOAH. You could get credit from IB like that?! Well at least for Canadian colleges…
Though, I expect a 36 - 40.

Thank you very much for the reply!!!

Just a question… you seem very knowledgeable on the subject, with all due respect… how exactly do you know about all this?

Oh just a note about my ranking… our school doesn’t have the brightest people if I must say so.
The IB students are the ones who take the rankings of the top 10%

ECs: extra-curriculars

U Manitoba (UMB) is the easiest of the five Canadian schools to get into. If you get into USF, you can get into UMB. But Canadian schools don’t ask for that much with respect to the SAT/ACT either, unless you want to attend U Toronto for engineering/Rotman or UBC Sauder/engineering; Canadian colleges are otherwise doable with a 26 on the ACT/1800 on the SAT.

The reason why Canadian colleges don’t ask for SAT/ACT scores from IB applicants is because there are (presumably international) applicants with IB full diplomas but that didn’t take the SAT/ACT and they do not want to penalize them.

I guess my extra curriculars are:

MAO (Mu Alpha Theta)
SECME
NHS

I didn’t want to join many clubs because I though junior year would be the harshest…
Though I plan on joining some more next year such as ISA (Indian Student Association) and SHS (Spanish Honor Society) and join wrestling or tennis. Also dealing with the clubs, become a leadership position in them.

Ohh alright.
Just a bit of info, I would like to go to medical school and study anesthesiology as well as Family Health and Public Health.
