What are my Chances?? Desperate for opinions! I'll offer you my opinion on your chances too.

Left NYU my sophomore year 2013 due to academic dismissal, with a 1.8 GPA.

However, I started community college in 2015 and will be graduating this upcoming spring 2017.
Current GPA is 3.88. Currently on the Dean’s List. Part of PTK (Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society)
Also I have interned throughout my gap year at a non-profit for about 8 months, worked as a medical assistant at a PCP office and am currently working part-time at a dental clinic.

Planning to transfer to 4-year university, after graduating CC with an Associates in Science, to finish off my undergrad career with a Bachelors in Science with the intended major of Biochemistry. I am applying to really great schools.

List of schools I’m applying to:

Boston College - target/reach
Boston University - target/reach
Case Western Reserve University - target
Columbia University - reach
Cornell University - reach
Dartmouth College - reach
Emory University - reach
Harvard College - reach
Johns Hopkins University - reach
MCPHS - target
New York University - target
Northeastern University - target/reach
Rutgers University - New Brunswick, Newark - safety
SUNY Stony Brook University - safety
Stanford University - reach
The George Washington University - target
University of Michigan - target/reach
University of Pennsylvania - reach
University of Southern California - target
Villanova University - target
Washington University in St. Louis - target

What do you think are my chances? And based off my stats, do you think that my targets/reaches are correct? Or am I applying to too many reaches? Should I apply to more targets/safeties?

Too many schools. That’s a crazy number. As a transfer student, you probably only need one safety and two-three matches. You are applying to far too many reaches. They are not lottery tickets. Tippy top colleges tend to accept the transfer students that they would have selected as freshman. They want the movers and shakers, the really involved student who has super high grades as well as interesting accomplishments outside the classroom. You have thirteen reaches. Focus on the two or three you really like the best that offer your major.

Take out some reaches. Once the quantity of them go up, the quality of your application might suffer. Have you accomplished anything significant outside of school (international awards, career-oriented jobs.)? If so, then applying to transfer to so many reaches like all Harvard/ Stanford/ Dartmouth/ UPenn/ Columbia is quite absurd. I never heard of any high school student/ college transfer applying to so many reaches, even if they are Intel finalists/ D1 athletes/ etc.

Ok. I didn’t realize that I might be hurting more than helping my chances in transferring into schools. I’ll definitely take a couple of reaches out based on the programs I feel is best for me. Thanks for the reality check @Lindagaf @bubblepop12444
