What are my chances? (EA 2015)

<p>Georgetown is definitely my first choice school, so it's a no brainer that I'm applying there Early Action. Based on what's here, what do you think my chances are?</p>

<p>Asian-Hispanic male / senior at magnet NYC public school</p>

<p>Metrics:
ACT: 34 (English: 34, Math: 36, Reading: 32, Science 32, Writing: 10)
Subject Tests: 720 USH, 750 Math IC, 770 Math IIC
GPA: 4.0 (no weighted averages)
AP's taken / taking: World History, US History, Computer Science, English Literature, English Composition, United States Government, Comparative Government, Environmental Science, Calculus AB (9 total); 4's or 5's on all tests taken so far</p>

<p>Extracurricular Activities:
-Speech & Debate Team, President
-Student Organization, Senator
-National Honor Society, Member and Tutor
-TV Production Crew, Head Writer
-Math Team</p>

<p>-New York City Invitational, Director of Pomp & Circumstance and Assistant Tournament Director
-National Park Service, Volunteer
-Intern, Councilman’s Office</p>

-Semifinalist at the Mid-America Cup
-National Speech and Debate Association All-American Award

<p>I think you are a very strong candidate for EA admission based on your stats and EC’s. If your application and recommendations are solid, you are going to be highly competitive. That being said, there are lot’s of students with similar profiles applying for a limited number of places, so of course there can be no guarantees. Even if you are deferred EA, don’t lose heart, as you will get another shot at RD time.</p>

<p>really strong chances! your grades, your courseload, your ACT, and your partial-URM status makes you an almost auto-admit. EC’s are really good too, it all comes down to essays and teacher recs. I’d say you have >75% chance</p>
