What Are My Chances? (EA)

<p>Hi, I'm a Junior and am very interested in Stanford. I plan to apply there using Stanford's Restrictive Early Application next year, but I am wondering whether my chances are good or not. I realize that it is impossible to FULLY know, but I want to have an idea. Where can I brush up? Are my scores too low? Please help me try to strengthen myself before application. Even though application is in 9 months, I want to try to know where I can improve now. Here is my resume (abridged) so far... keep in mind that I am still a Junior so I haven't finished everything yet:</p>

<p><em>High School Information</em>
-located in Omaha, Nebraska
-private school, doesn't rank
-unweighted GPA: 3.98 (B+ in Biology freshman year, which I am worried about)
-weighted GPA: 4.06 (school limits amount of AP's available)
-ACT 33 (E 35, M 32, R 33, S 31)</p>

<p><em>Extra-Curriculars</em>
-forensics (still have a few more meets left this year including conference/districts/state): received varsity letter (9, 10, 11); competed in Humorous Interpretation (HI) and Duet Acting (DI); state titles include: 1st in HI (9), 2nd in HI (10), 2nd in DA (9), 3rd in DA (10); district titles include: 1st in HI (9, 10), 1st in DA (9, 10); conference titles include: 1st in HI (9, 10), 1st in DA (9), 3rd in DA (10); regular season medals: 16 medals in HI (9, 10, 11), 5 medals in DA (9, 10); team results include: 1st in state (9, 10), 1st in districts (9, 10), 1st in conference (9, 10); helped coach and judge middle school team; selected by speech coaches as Novice of the Year (9)</p>

-i think i should get national merit this year</p>

<p>btw i plan to write my common app essay about how i watched my dad perform surgery and it inspired me to become a doctor. i am very passionate about becoming a doctor… like i want nothing more haha is this a good topic?</p>
