GPA: 3.5
Classes I have taken in highschool: Four years of math (I'm currently in pre-calculus), four years of science, three and 1/2 of history, four of English, thee and 1/2 of french, one being a college class, lots of art classes and costume classes.
SATs: 690, 650, 620.
Applying to Emerson for creative writing, Sarah Lawrence for English, French and Art history. I have lots of experience with creative writing, founded and run the schools literary magazine, have four years of costume design and production for shows, a semester of college french and TAing a lower level class, worked on schools yearbook sophmore year (to help a friend) and have a job.
I am not applying anywhere else except Umass Boston as my safety school.

I think you have a solid chance at Emerson(i.e good match), and a pretty good chance at Sarah Lawrence(i.e, low reach/high match)

Sorry, I really don't know that much about the schools, but I saw your screename, and thought it was awesome, so I decided to post in this thread

Agreed on the screenname.... anyone else excited by the Deathly Hallows?

Sarah Lawrence - low reach
Emerson - high match
UMass - Boston (you should go for Amherst, though) - uber safety

Hey, thanks. I do not want to go to UMass Amherst because it is very near where I live now and I'd much rather live in Boston than in the same area I do now. My options would be limited to living at home or living on that terrible campus. I am using UMass Boston as a safety school because my MCAS scores allow me to go to a state college free.

Oh and yes, I'm very excited about the next Harry Potter book.
