Hi, I'm currently a sophomore and I was wondering what my chances are as of now and any recommendations people have for getting into Georgia Tech, Carnegie Mellon, MIT, UF and/or University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. I am interested in environmental engineering and am in the IB program. I got all A's freshman year and I have about a 4.8 right now. Here is what I am taking this year and my first quarter grades (these can change, since colleges can only see the semester grades):

AP Calculus AB-B
Physics Honors-A
Spanish 3 Honors-A
Chemistry Honors-A
AP Environmental Science-A
AP Language and Composition-A
AP Statistics-A
AP US Govt-A

Will getting a B greatly hurt me when applying for engineering schools? My teacher is very bad and I have been dedicated much of my time to just teach myself by watching khanacademy and tutoring. Next year I plan to do Calc 2 and 3 dual enrollment (which I hear Calculus 2 is an extremely hard class) and then Differential Equations and Graph Theory dual enrollment senior year. Would it be better for me to take SL Math then HL Math instead? I think I have a higher chance of getting an A in those classes since the average grade in Calc 2 is a C I believe and that worries me.

Here are my extracurriculars:

Academic Games-Vice President for Social Studies Competitions
Explorer Post 57-A student-run environmental awareness corp by the South Florida Water Management District
Mu Alpha Theta
Student United Way-Historian
Swim team-Varsity
Guitar club (just because I want to learn)

Should I add other clubs? Last year I was in SECME and Science Olympiad but I don't believe my school has it this year (I switched schools by the way because of a custody change-I know live with my grandparents). I was thinking about doing Robotics or Computer Club but transportation might be an issue.

What do you recommend I do to make up for getting a B in math?
