What are my chances? --- Final College list!

Hey, I'm currently a British student studying for diploma in my home country. I have 8 GCSE's (hopefully 10 by the time I start) all the grades are C-B. I'll also be leaving with (hopefully) the equivelent of 7 A Levels, 6 of which will be grades A-B and one D (I have a reason for that grade) Someone on here (and with the help of fullbright) kindly converted my GPA for me and I now have somewhere in the region of a 3.0.

I'll be applying for:
Azusa Pacific University
Concordia College - MN
Temple University
University of Louisville
University of New Haven
University of Oregon
Western Kentucky University

EC/Leader/Volunteering:
. Volunteer at my schools Connexions library where I helped pupils find a college that suited them and answered any questions they may have. (2 years)
. I've been doing majorettes for 5 years (nearly 6 years when I apply) 4 (hopefully 5) of which I have been a leader (or an equivalent)
. Leader of a charity auction where we will be raising money for 2 charities, Help For Heroes (soldiers) and one where disabled and those with learning disabilites go to give their families and carers are a break.
. I was part of a drama class before the group disbanded
. I'm on the student council
. 900+ hours work placement (unpaid, kind of volunteering)

I've done more but those are within the past 3 years, before that though I have
. Taken keyboard lessons
. Was a ''bully buddy'' --- in other words helped kids that were getting bullied
. Part of my schools choir
. Taken part in school plays from when I was aged 3-11

I also got most improved in my high school drama class (voted by the pupils)

Jobs:
. Working for a childminder
. Caring for an ill person who is waiting for a transplant

The schools don't require me to do the SAT/ACT. I know it wouldn't hurt to take them but after taking practice ones I fear I would get a very low score as I am a bad exam taker.

Am I aiming too high? If so where should I apple to?

Do I have a chance? If so which ones?

Have I got enough EC's?

In the past, you mentioned financial aid? I’m no expert, but these colleges don’t offer any aid to international students, do they? And you probably shouldn’t worry too much about your grades if you’ve done okay enough (As and Bs at A-Level are okay), as those colleges aren’t that selective.

If I were you, I would practice more for the SAT (use the blue book), and take the test in January. There are some state Us that could give you some partial scholarships based on those.

Again, I don’t know what your preferences are, but if I were paying out of my own pocket to attend a State U, I would be going to one which can provide me a good education in my fields of interest (let’s called that physics/applied physics), and one located in a city/town I would like to be at. For example, U of Arizona, UNC-Chapel Hill, U of Wisc-Madison, UMD College Park, Penn State, CU Boulder, UT-Austin, UMass-Amherst and UWash…not U of New Haven. Not that there’s anything wrong with UNH, but based on location alone, I’d rather go elsewhere.

I know U of Oregon, Azusa, Concordia give financial aid to internationals.

Most of the colleges are private only leaving 2/3 that are public. I didn’t think my GCSE grades were high enough for places like Penn State etc. I know UNH isn’t in a great location but I love the course that I intend to take if I get accepted so it kind of evens it out a bit. I looked at so many great cities but the courses weren’t as good as UNH.

Thank you for the advice though.
