GPA: 4.0 (almost certain)
SAT 2: Biology M-710
I'll probably take 3 more; math IC, Chem and US History next year, and probably two or three more during the senior year.
AP: Euro-?

I HAVENT TAKEN THE SAT YET SO CAN ANYONE GIVE ME AN IDEA OF WHAT A GOOD SCORE WOULD BE? I ALSO TAKE AP EURO THIS YEAR AND IM GOING TO TAKE AP US NEXT YEAR, AND PROBABLY 6 MORE APS DURING THE SENIOR YEAR.

gun for a 2250 or higher.

o aight thx. but if that is a little hard for me, is 2100ish good enuf too? just wondering. ill still try to get 2250, but just to be safe. i wanna know if 2100 is good too. thx for ur advice!

Don't "shoot" for a score, just try to do as well as you can.

4.0? that's pretty low unless you're talking about unweighted.

o aight ill try my best. and sup, 4.0 is low for weighted? wow...... i should try to raise it i guess?

Let me rephrase that. 4.0 is definitely a bit low for Ivy League schools, but it's still a relatively competitive GPA. In other words, don't hope to get into Harvard or Yale with that score. I'd suggest taking a few more AP's because though you have very strong ECs, academic still tends to count for more at the Ivy level.

yea i know how important academics are. i thought i was actually doing really well, but i can see how competitive it really is to have a high GPA than other applicants...... ill definitely try harder now. thx for ur advice.

I had the same experience, ur not as competitivew as u think
