What are my chances for AU w/ an LD

alright I am only a soph now. I will probaly finish the year with a gpa of 4.9 on the 5.0. Here’s the thing I have a learning disability and have been recommended by my schools special ed department to stay in REGULAR classes which I exceed in with high grades. Next year and senior I will be taking ap/honors history gov econ and german classes. I also do clubs like model un and student council and more. I also volunteer two days a week at my communities resource center. I know I’m only a soph but does anyone think I do have a chance, im just worried about reg classes and not taking more ap till senior year considering i am thinking about early decision. I plan on majoring in POLITICAL SCIENCE and then something in communications. Anyone think i have shot at all and what are other good school for me?

I don’t know about chances, but check out the learning services program: [Office of Campus Life](http://www1.american.edu/ocl/asc/ldadd/learningserv.html)

I don’t know about chances either, but I’m thinking you won’t have a problem getting into AU. ;D

I have a learning disability and took 2 APs junior year and 3 senior year and I was accepted into the honors program. Don’t stress too much. (By the way, they have disability services from what I hear)
