Hello all. This is my first post so please excuse me if I have incorrect format.
I was wondering what my chances are for Baruch college with an economics major. Would i have better chances with a different major?
I have:
-a 26 ACT
-a 1210 New SAT (530 math 680 reading)
-3.17 gpa (I know…)
-2 letters of reccomendation
-supplemental essay
-the completion of the activites supplement including: 4 years of football, 2 years of lacrosse, 2 years of golf, 3 seperate jobs, one internship and 16 hours of community service.
Thanks,
Let me know if I missed anything.
Edit: I also reside in NJ and attend a fairly high ranked highschool.
If you’re interested in economics, which undergraduate degree do you want? Do you want the BBA degree(Zicklin School of Business) or the BA degree(Weissman School of Arts and Sciences)? All students who want to apply for Zicklin School of Business must complete a required set of courses.
Which school do you want to enter within Baruch College? Make that decision. Then choose what degree you want from what’s offered within your selected school. From what you’ve listed for your ACT, SAT, gpa, and etc, they all look good. You have a good chance to enter Baruch College. Keep in mind that there are many others who will also apply competitively, there are no guarantees of admission.
