I would like to attend Virginia tech under a business major. I’m a second generation Hokie but my brother also attended so I would be considered to have 2 legacies.

3.8 weighted GPA
1340 (math and cr) SAT
3 Years varsity football, captain 1 year
1 year varsity lacrosse
NHS, NEHS and FBLA
Student government member, council member for my class
100+ hours of community service
Participated on mission trips In the Dominican Republic
Part time job as a shift supervisor, held for 2 years. Consistently 15-20 hours a week
I’d also like to apply under the Corps of cadets. Does this addition to my application actually add to my chances? Online it says it does not but some people have said unofficially it helps.
I’m from northern Virginia, an extremely competitive area and I’ve heard it’s harder to get in to Tech from my school district than it is from other areas. If you could give me any idea of the chance I have, as well as things I need to improve, that would be greatly appreciated!!
