What are my Chances for (CAL STATE LONG BEACH, NORTHRIDGE, AND FULLERTON)

Activities/volunteering/EC’s are not counted in CSU admissions (except for Cal Poly SLO) -there’s not even a space for them in the application. How it works: You get assigned a score, based on a combination of your GPA & test scores. The computer admits the top scores until they fill in the targeted # of admits.

Your scores are within the range: <a href=“ACT Score Comparison for the Cal State Universities”>http://collegeapps.about.com/od/theact/a/Cal-State-act-scores.htm. You need to calculate your CSU GPA: <a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Cal State Apply | CSU.

Then use that + your ACT to calculate your CSU index (the score I mentioned) here: <a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Cal State Apply | CSU;

Here are the index standards for each school (pay attention to out of state):

Long Beach: <a href=“First-Time, First-Year Student Admission Eligibility | California State University Long Beach”>http://www.csulb.edu/depts/enrollment/admissions/freshmen.html
Northridge: http://www.csun.edu/outreach/collegeportrait/admission1.htm
Fullerton: http://www.fullerton.edu/admissions/prospectivestudent/eligibilityIndex.asp

If you make the minimum, you can apply. To have a good shot, you need to exceed the minimum index by certain amount, though. Good luck!
