steaky:

UCLA: Slight Reach
UCSD: Match
UCSB: Safe Match
UCI: Safe Match

USC: Slight Reach
UOP: Safety

Can you explain why USC is a slight reach for me? I'm not so sure on that one.

do you like UCLA? how is it there? I've applied there but I haven't really gone to visit there because my chances are slim anyway.

steaky:

I'm enjoying studying at UCLA... My colleagues are much nicer than I thought, the classes are very competitive, and the campus is pristine. However, there are a couple things I don't like: Bruin Walk, fraternities and Westwood. Bruin Walk is very hustle-bustle and can make getting to class stressful and more time-consuming, and the fraternities and sororities are an unfortunate eyesore. Westwood is becoming less and less of a friendly college town and the prices of shopping there are pretty exorbitant. But the professors, TAs, and the overall academic atmosphere in both North and South campus have exceeded my expectations.

Yeah, that is my only gripe about UCLA...the frats and sororities are filthy....it really irritates me that more isn't done to make them clean up their areas. Perhaps because they are off campus there is little the school can do..but still.

are you in state?

yes, i live in orange county, the county below LA
