What are my Chances for Computer Science at University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne

I just applied.
I’m a high school senior.
3.3 cumulative GPA
28 ACT retaking soon
Illinois Resident, of Mexican heritage.

Extra Curriculars: Football, Tennis, Film Club, Co-Leader of Philosophy Club, Drama Club, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Concert Band, Computer Club, Scholastic Bowl, School Paper.
I’ve been working part-time for a year and half and work 16+ hours a week.

Accomplishments: Woody Herman Jazz Award, Jr. IMEA Division One Finalist, won Conference Championship for scholastic bowl, named drum major for marching band.

I have taken a semester on web design and programming, and currently taking AP Computer Science.

With that GPA and considering CS is one of the most competitve majors to get into I would say its a high reach for you

Your Mexican heritage could work in your favor if you can raise your ACT score to maybe a 31 or 32.
Did you take hard classes?

Hey! Probably just being annoying on my part, but the correct spelling of the school’s name is “University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.”
As for your chances, your GPA might be a bit low for the CS program that UIUC offers. If you can get your ACT to above 30, I think you can move UIUC from a high reach to just a reach.
