Hi fellas!
I am Korean, and I am currently a high school sophomore in an International School in China. Yes I am hoping to attend Cornell University to study architecture in about two years. I am a modern architecture geek. I have been loving to build lego models. I love Dubai, and I love Shanghai.
Since my school follows the full IB curriculum (PYP, MYP, and DP), I have followed the MYP to GPA calculation mentioned in the International School of Moshi website. Hence, my converted GPA is 3.89 out of 4.0.
Academically, I am one of the top 5% students in our school for all subjects.
Taken SAT I at a relatively younger age compared to many other students, and the score is not so satisfying: 1720 (CR 460, MT 700 WR 560), yes I will get a higher score than this; aiming for a 2000+.
I have been serving as the Student Council representative for two consecutive years.
I have been taking a part as the leading role in many extra-curricular activities offered in my school, including: GIN (global issues network), Design Club (Activity Club leader, and the founder).
I have been to more than eight international model united nations conferences, as having to be a part of the MUN group in our school for almost four years.
I have taken summer courses in KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology).
I have been school representative for an international math competition (World Math Team Competition 2014).
Guys Ive got more to write about, but lets just stick with this much of show-off.
I really hope that I will be able to get into Cornell and MIT undergrad to study architecture. It’s my dream. Hopefully it’s a dream-to-become-true.
Help me out here; recommend me if there are anything I gotta improve (or to-do), criticise me if I suck.
