What are my chances for CWRU 2024?

I’m a rising senior planning to apply as a CS major

My stats are:
Unweighted GPA 4.00
Weighted GPA 4.75
1490 SAT (740 reading 750 math) (I’m taking this again)
35 ACT (36 reading 35 writing 34 science 34 math)

I’ve taken AP: biology, world history, chemistry, and physics C Mech
For senior year I’m enrolled in AP: statistics, computer science, english lit, physics C e&m, calc AB, and psychology

I’ve had highest honors throughout all three years so far and I’ve taken honors or AP in every core subject

My extracurriculars include lacrosse for two years and track & field for three, over 60 hours of community service in high school, peer tutoring every year, and co-founding/being co-president of an Operation Smile fundraising club at my school

I’ve also won an award for engineering (10th grade) and placed second in an American Chemical Society contest (11th grade)

I’ve got recs from my chemistry and english teachers

Also, I’m a white female from an upper-middle class family (likely no need-based financial aid)

If I apply ED do I have a good chance at getting a decent merit scholarship? Is it better to apply EA than ED? Case is my #1 choice.

Thanks in advance!

Your stats are pretty much above decent and on par with CWRU. Having this school your #1 choice means definitely you should go for ED; this will boost your chances from 29% to around 42% (reference: https://case.edu/ir/sites/case.edu.ir/files/2019-07/CDS%202018-2019.pdf). Concerning merit scholarships, I’m not sure if applying ED increases your chances of getting a merit scholarship.
Applying EDII mostly and hope we meet there next year

you will get in, even RD I think. I actually would be worried that going ED might mean you are LESS likely to get that merit award since you are committed.

By the way, no need to take that SAT again. Just submit that ACT score (35) and don’t even submit the SAT.

I have asked Case and they said that you are considered for merit scholarships equally for ED/EA/RD.

I agree there’s no need to retake the SAT with a 35 on the ACT. You are definitely competitive for CWRU.
