what are my chances for (Dartmouth, cornell (AEM), cornell CAS?)

So i am almost done with my junior year and got most of my grades back. I still have to decide which school i should early decision to. Everything sounds amazing lol. anyways heres my stats. I was just wondering what my chances were for Dartmouth, Cornell AEM, Cornell CAS, Uchicago, northwestern, Duke, Boston college, and which college do you think i should early decision to?

GPA: Around 4.33-4.31 weighted(AP is weighted 1.0, honors .5), like 3.88 unweighted on a 4.3 scale.
Class Rank 7/125 5% but school doesn't send out ranks but it does send out like charts on how i am among my classmates.
SAT: First time: Reading: 620, Writing: 760, Math: 760 (2140) second time: Reading 730, Writing 700, math 700 (2130). Superscore 2250 i am taking it again in October, I am really confident during the summer i can raise my SAT to at least 2300.
SAT II: History 740 Math 2c: 800. I think i am going to take a science in November. Do you guys think it is too late for the early decision application?
ACT: N/A
Recommendation 1: Going to be very good but is a sophomore teacher not JUNIOR teacher. (I had him freshman year, and sophomore and had him as my basketball coach for 2 years.)
Recommendation 2: My history teacher for 2 years. Going to be really, really good as well, he loves me.
guidance counselor recommendation: probably a little better than average letter.

Class work load: Freshman took 2 honors, Sophomore 1 AP(AP Euro got 3) and 5 honors, Junior took 4 AP, 1 MCP(weighted same as AP), and 1 honors, Did not take study hall, Senior year going to have 5 AP, 1 MCP, In total 11 APs

Extracurricular: Academic decathlon(9th-12th grade) Leader in 12th grade. Class President (10th-12th grade), Superior: tutoring president(tutoring business outside of school), FBLA Creator/president (11th - 12th), Guitar club Creator/president (11th-12th), Key club(11th-12th) officer, Member of math club(9th-12th), Communique(9th-12th), debate(9th-12th), The supply club(11th-12th), Invisible children(10th-12th), Basketball team(9th-12th) Varsity member 11th-12th, Track Team(9th-12th) Varsity member 10th-12th grade,Member of church basketball team, and KCC(korean community church) group (not sure if it's worth anything),

inconsistent extracurricular(clubs i might not put on resume) - chess club(9th-11th) pretty much a joke club, football team(9th)

Volunteer: Over 200 hours. Hospital, care-taker of mentally impaired children, youth group teacher

Junior Summer: I am creating an economics blog this summer and going to two summer program, Economic for Leaders in Cornell and Opportunities to learn Business in Wabash College

Awards: Medal in academic decathlon math, MVP for scholastic team in academic decathlon, Scholar athlete for three years 10th grade, 11th and 12th, probably ap scholar, National Merit scholar(got 2050 psat probably not semi-finalists), gold medal in Greek mythology test, Principles list. O I DID NOT MAKE NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY(unfair teacher thought i was cheating and crap. w.e)

College Essays: Going to be fairly strong. Going to work on it all summer and i have a tutor who can help me as well.

Ethnicity: Asian
Gender: Male
Family Income: less than 45,000 Going for Financial Aid

I want to go to a college that's challenging but at the same time not excruciating. I want my college experience to be the best, where I can work really hard and learn a lot as well as play a lot.

Which college should i Early? Oh, and what should i do till application dates to improve my chances? I am going to study SAT very hard and going to get above 2300 but dont know much i can do. Thank you for reading! oh and i am majoring in business/economics

In at BC. And note that you only apply to 1 school in Cornell. Yes you have a second choice but only a very very very small amount of students are admitted to that second choice instead of the first. If you are applying to Cornell, then apply to AEM since you are majoring in business/economics.

Dartmouth and Duke are very unlikely, class rank is weak for those two schools. Cornell, you have a decent shot at. You need to get your critical reading and math score up to 1500+ (they dont care about writing). Honestly you should apply early decision there since of the top top schools you listed, that i s the one you have the best chance of getting into. But first MAKE SURE that cornell iIS your number 1 choice. IF you get in, you can’t back out of the ED agreement. And you cant use financial aid as a reason because you will receive a full aid package from cornell.Good luck

Technically, wouldn’t 7/125 be top 10%?

7/125 is like 5%-6%. Thank you for your replies. And for i know you can only apply to one cornell college but i was wondering my chances at AEM and CAS separetely. But i understand that drtmouth would be hard for me

Your chances at AEM and CAS are pretty good if you apply early decision, and ok if you apply regular decision.

Bump 10char

I’m just assuming they won’t round a 5.6 down. But I dunno.

Update: gpa is 4.29 weighted and 3.88 unweighted
Sat 2 math i got 790
I narrowed my ed to cornell cas or cals aem. Still dont know which is better option. And also i am thinking of princeton early action of about 20%. i live in nj and no one has ever early actioned there in nj. Also ppl who had applied to princeton in my school was not that competitive and people wit similar to my stats got into rd. princeton has early rate of around 21%

You can definitely get into Cornell. I think you should early for business and regular for CAS because I believe you will easily get into CAS even in regular, so might as well go for a harder school in the earlies

hi, i am an international student currently enrolled at a community college, i did my high school and then i came yo USA and got admission in mechanical engineering program at community college. i am planning to transfer to cornell, my GPA is 3.7 after 31 credits and i am taking 19 credits this semester with a 2 credit internship at an engineering company which built vital monitoring machines. i am also a member of my college’s honor society Phi Theta Kappa and vice president of the fund raising comity. i did take SAT’s in high school but only scored about 1410 so i am not gonna right those on my application. what are my chances of getting accepted at Cornell university i am applying for fall 2013 and applying through early decision application.
