Location: Metro Atlanta, Georgia
High School: Private school
GPA: 3.75 unweighted 3.825 weighted with Ga Tech scale
SAT: Critical Reading - 560 Math - 650 Writing - 690 Total - 1900
ECs - Many different clubs academic and otherwise, 200 hours of community service,many leadership positions in clubs.
After next year I will have taken 3 AP classes and nearly everything else will have been honors.
If I bring up my SAT especially my Critical Reading before I apply in October what do you think my chances of getting in are? I am very interested in studying engineering at Tech.
Also, I plan on writing my essay about how I was an epileptic until I turned 11 and had brain surgery if that's relevant.

<p>Well You have a high GPA, several leadership, and instate applicant.I think you have a vey high chance of getting in. But you need to retake your SAT and shoot for a >2000. GOOD LUCK!!</p>
<p>P.S. When you write your essay, don’t make it look like you want sympathy. Colleges don’t like it. Very interesting topic though.</p>
