What are my chances for getting in?

<p>I am unsure of how competitive of an applicant pool Washington University draws, so if you could chance me, it would be much appreciated!</p>

<p>I know a few people that have gone to Harvard and I know it is a reach basically for anyone, but I would like to know if I have a chance. Here are my stats.</p>

<p>Apply for merit scholarships or you might be rejected.</p>

<p>Why do you say that? I struggled with the decision to apply to the merit scholarships because I am already applying to a good amount of schools and am admitting music stuff, so it is certainly a lot to keep track of, so I just decided not to. There are only 4 full tuition and 16 half tuition so I didn’t really think I would be competitive at a school already with a pretty low acceptance rate, but I really don’t have a clue I suppose.</p>

<p>Applying to the merit scholarships shows interest, something that may be a deciding factor between admit and waitlist.</p>

<p>In other words, apply for the scholarships dammit. The worst that happens is you don’t get the scholarship. The best is that you get a nice chunk of money.</p>
