Im rank 19 in a title 1 school, my SAT score is 1650 and my ACT is 26.
I take all AP classes like Calc BC Physics C and so on, but I dont know if i have a good chance due to my scores being low… Also my essays topic C and B are well written and interesting, but I can’t seem to write a good essay for topic A. Should I submit a bad topic A essay or leave it out?
What is your rank percentile-wise? Also are you in-state?
Well actually it doesn’t matter, MCombs is out either way, but you’ll be able to gain acceptance as long as you’re in-state in the top 7%.
Im in the top 5% in my school, and I’m in Texas
McCombs is one of the hardest colleges to get into within UT, and plenty of students with 30+ and 2000+ on the ACT/SAT get rejected. McCombs is out of the question, so I’d recommend looking at less competitive colleges within UT if you’re set on UT.
If you really want a business major apply to less competitive schools where you’ll get direct admission to your major.
