What are my chances for getting into Pittsburg

Pittsubrgh* or Univeristy of Maryland College Park
I have a 3.0 uw gpa on a 4.0 scale and a 4.41 weighted gpa, but im entering my senior year and if i can get a 4.0 the first quarter, my gpa will go to a 3.3 when it comes time for admission
I have progessively improved, from freshman year to now, went from a 2.71 freshman year(all gt classes) to a 3.0 sophmore year(one ap rest gt classes) and last year i had a 3.4(4 ap classes and one gt) This year i will be taking 5 ap classes and if i can get a 4.0 i think that would be really helpful because i heard colleges like to see that you continued challenging yourself through high school and improve as well
My SAT's from my junior year was a 1950
730 in reading
610 in math
610 in writing, but im going to retake the SAT's in the begginging on my senior year this year and im aiming for a 760 in reading, 740 in math and 710 in writing
My EC:
No groups really, but ive played basketball all years of high school and i will play this year, 9th and 10th grade was on jv, 10th grade i was captain for the team and starter and mvp, and 11th grade year varsity, i was a starter/sixth man depending on the rotation on the day of each game. I played jv soccer for my school in 10th grade, and i played travel soccer in 9th and 10th grade and travel basketball in 9th grade
I am going to join some clubs this year such as vignette, math club, mock trial, environmental club etc..
Outside of school:
I helped take in used things to a truck that delivered them to a salvation army
Helped prepare a chicken dinner for my church
I also make rap music, i have a youtube page with 6k subscribers and ive gotten three awards for most viewed musician of the day three different days(#54, #33, and #21 respectively). I also have a mixtape out that has 280 downloads and 1100 plays and my myspace has over 18k plays.(I mention this because i heard colleges like to see that you are involved and succesfull in things other than school work.
Im ranked in the top 13 percent in my class, 67/532 i can probably move in the top 10 percent this year, and my ap test scores, two 4's, one 3, and two 1's(i know those are bad tho)
What are my chances, and which schools should i look further into esp. for business accounting and computer engineering thank you.

no chance, seeing as there is no such school, but you should look into Pittsburgh its a very nice college.

^^^lol im sorry mistype on the name

You should be fine even with those SATs. Your GPA is iffy, but if you are able to raise your SAT to your expected level, all the better. If you get your SAT up high enough, you could even qualify for honors.

Thanks for the feedback very much appreciated, yea my gpa isnt great, i was an average freshman with the whole it doesnt matter attitude lol

“Helped prepare a chicken dinner for my church
I also make rap music”

I dont think you should include this

What state do you live in? UMD has gotten to be an extremely tough school to get into these days, Pitt, not so much. If you live in Maryland you will get into UMD, and most likely Pitt. If your a PA resident, then yes to Pitt, maybe to UMD

@extemp-would tht hurt my application or is it unimportant info?
and @wilkey i live in maryland

It does nothing for your app and makes it seem like your just padding your app with unimportant info which makes them skeptical of other extra curriculars

Pitt gives no preference to in-state students. Actually, Pitt may be easier to get into from out-of-state. Pitt is not that much easier to get into than UMD. Admission statistics have Pitt’s freshman ~30 pts lower on the SATs and 0.06 pts lower in average GPAs.
