What are my chances for getting into schools such as Exeter or Phillips Academy?

I'm a sophomore in high school and would be applying for eleventh grade. Also I will need finical aid. I'm not sure if those two things will kill my chances of getting in...

Anyway, I get almost all A's. All through out middle school I had a 4.0 grade point average but my first semester of freshmen year I had two high B's in Honors geometry and honors earth science. The second semester I got all A's and so far I have straight A's sophomore year. The classes I take are the hardest my school has to offer and I actually find them pretty easy. Here are my class this year:

Advanced acting
Spanish 2
Honors Algebra 2
Advanced newspaper
Honors biology
Honors English
Honors history

Sports
I've played tennis for as long as I can remember
Soon I will be starting to do karate
I did soccer for five years

Extracurricular
I'm involved in the school newspaper (it's more than just a class).
I do a lot of acting, auditioning for plays and taking out of school acting classes.
I've been in girl scouts for ten years and have done (I swear I'm not exaggerating) hundreds, if not thousands, of hours of community service.
I've earned my bronze, silver, and (almost) gold award, three huge community service projects.
I play the piano.

Hobbies
I've written a few novels on my computer. Nothings published but all of them over 50,000 words. Writing is usually what I do in my free time.
I'm teaching myself sign language. I don't have enough room in my schedule at school to take it so I decided to teach myself.

I haven't yet taken the SSAT...
I'm positive that my teachers would all write good letters of recommendation for me. All my teachers love me.
I also haven’t yet had an interview but I think that will go well too. I'm really good with adults.

So, what do you think? Do I have a chance?

I am a sophomore and looking to apply to Exeter academy for 11th grade, my primary strengths are the Math Olympiads and Political savviness. I have won awards in debate, model congress, moot court, and will do mock trial and model un this year, expect to win awards, and am most of all willing to adapt and learn.

here are my sophomore plans, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/999819-i-am-dedicated-want-know-if-college-would-agree-not.html

please advice, i am not a prodigy but i am extremely bright and am creative in both sciences and humanities. I love reading, blogging and public speaking. not to mention my technical skills and passion for video editing.

Most of all, i try incorporate my various passions together, whether it’s political videos, or economics and statistics or chem and physics together, :D

am I qualified for E/A or Andover? and which one would be better for my ‘fit’

I also babysit a lot… I’m not sure if that helps at all…

I’ve been studying spanish for two years and I’ve also been on the high honors roll since 6th grade

You from New Haven???

no… (10 characters)

@love2act, I am sorry I didn’t chance you, as I obviously myself don’t know what it takes to get into Exeter, ut my humble opinions on your chances,

despite the fact your primary strengths are writing, you are taking a year advanced math, (or at least in NY, Alg 2 is Junior Math), you are taking the hardest curriculum you can, and are extremely passionate in what you do, from the girl scouts (I’m a boy scout also on my way to eagle= equivalent of golden) and the fact you have stuck with it for such a large amount of your life shows character,

I don’t know about your quality, but you have a striking amount of essays, articles, and even novels.

You’re a well rounded person, interested in exploring and extremely passionate and dedicated, I definitely think exeter would want applicants like you,

DON’T APPLY FOR 11th GRADE!!! It’s by far the hardest grade at exeter, with almost all high level courses, especially american history, which is extremely hard for an un-prepared (hasn’t taken an Exeter history course before) person. If you’re going to apply, do it as a repeat lower – or regret it

(Exeter student)

shelms, how would you describe yourself in terms of grades and intelligence? I am paying heed to your comment, but I feel I am up for the challenge, unless you can give me better perspective of how difficult it is?
