What are my chances for getting into Virginia Tech?

<p>I just applied early decision, and their acceptance rate for early decision is actually 10% lower than their regular acceptance rate (between 50-60%). I feel confident, but I always have those doubts at the back of my mind. What do you think?</p>

<p>-4.06 weighted GPA
-1270 SAT (1600 scale), 1940 SAT (2400 scale)
-29 ACT
-5 APs/ 6 Honors classes total (including senior year)
-got 4s on both APUSH & APLang exams
-member of 3 honor societies
-secretary of key club
-played piano for 12 years</p>

<p>As a longtime UVA fan and hopefully future rival of your’s, I can say that you are in as long as you have a few more EXC’s that I don’t see.</p>

<p>Yeah I have other volunteer work, just didn’t feel like listing. My EXCs aren’t my strong point, but I think my grades make up for it.</p>
