I’m sure you will get a lot of great input from those much more experienced than I, but I’ll answer your pm, ok?
Hi. One important chance piece is an SSAT score. Your grades and EC’s sound good although perhaps not unusual. Being a URM is a diversity factor that could be in your favor. I think it’s very good that you’re thinking about adding more schools, but maybe sharing what you’re looking for in a boarding school experience might help others weigh in more effectively on good options for you.
Hey! I think that you have great grades, and good EC’s. I think that they could use a bit of diversification, however (in the sense that you should try something unusual). Your SSAT will play a role in your application, so update us when you take it maybe? What are you looking for in a school? I’m attending Choate this fall so it’s not like I’m biased or anything… :ar!
Your grades and ECs are great! How dedicated are you as an oboe player? How involved are you in CJSF?
That is very impressive. Based on what I’ve seen recently I bet you’ll get into Loomis with no problems and probably the other schools as well.
@monica20 I’m involved in CJSF quite a bit,I volunteer every week.
