Essays/Recommendations:

I have written all my essays and i have gotten second opinions from 10 or so people and every one loves them. I personally think they are the best Pieces i have ever written. All my recommenders love me so my Recs will be off the charts.

Hooks:
International (may also be a disadvantage), Learning Disability in Africa.

Extreme down sides:
Can’t take the SAT again
need full financial aid

bump… bump… superbump… almost a month now…

As an international student who also applied Financial aid and relatively low statistics among all Ivies applicants, your chance is kinda low. Your extracurriculars are good and you need to represent them on your ECs to improve your chance but Ivies still reach school for ya.

You’re a big reach because your SAT is kinda low for top schools, and you also need full financial aid which, for most schools they are need-aware to international students.

Updates: apparently my GPA is 3.9 instead of 3.8 and I have since become the most decorated MUN delegate in my school’s history. I am applying as a Astrophysics/Political science double major.

Ivies/Stanford/MIT are reaches for almost everyone in the US and are even harder for international students to get into. Those will be high reaches for you.

I think probably CMC, Harvey Mudd, Colby and Colgate are probably reaches.

Tulane, NYU and Lafayette are probably low reaches.

Pepperdine and Conn College are maybe high matches.

Morehouse may be a match or a low match.

You should do some research on which US schools give the best financial aid to international students, if you haven’t already.

Sorry your SAT is too low. You are way below the 25th percentile for all of those schools (for Ivies). Other schools could be hard too, depending on how many internationals they take and where they usually come from.

Can you guys recommend colleges i should apply to? (put into consideration that i need financial aid)

Anyone? I need to get this done soon so if you could suggest schools i’d really appreciate it
