What are my chances for Michigan's College of Engineering?

I am an out of state student (Washington State) and want to apply to the College of Engineering. Idk if all this info is pertinent but whatever.

ACT- 29, 30, 30
Unweighted GPA- 3.95
11 AP Classes (2 soph. 4 Jr yr. 5 this year). 2 Honors classes.
Stats 5
World 4
APUSH 5
CALC AB 5
AP LANG 5
Physics 1 2 (lets not talk about that)
Physics C- taking this year
AP LIT- taking this year
AP AM/COMP Gov- taking this year
AP Comp Sci- taking this year
CALC BC- taking this year

Nationality- Chinese

President of Habitat for Humanity (2 yrs. Member for 3 years)
President for Model UN (1 yr. Member for 2 yrs)
JSA Member (2 yrs)
Key Club member (2 years)
Class Senator (4 years)

Volunteered with Habitat for 50+ hrs. Did 70+ hrs at a Pediatric Clinic.

So… What are my odds?

For OOS, I think it’s going to be a reach with a 30. What was your math subscore? Have you tried the SAT? There are a lot of instate students who can’t get in with a 30 let alone a 30. I think the average ACT for engineering was a 33 or 34. Of course, all of that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give it a shot. You might be surprised come spring.

It may be a reach even for in state. I know a student with ACT 33 from Ann Arbor got rejected this year.

My math subscore was a 32. I have taken the SAT once and I didn’t like it so I have just taken ACT since.

It would definitely be a reach for you as your composite is below 25th percentile and Math score is near 25th percentile as well.
