Thank you for responding.

With your current ACT score:

MIT: high reach
Minnesota; high match
GA Tech: reach

You may also want to check the foreign language requirements for these schools as you only show 2 year of French on the list.

I checked, they require 2 years of a foreign language.

^ Good. Many schools requires or recommend 3 or even 4 years of foreign languages these days.

Yeah… I would say MIT chances are slim to none. I believe they require 1 Math SAT subject test and 1 science subject test.

I’m planning on taking the SAT Subject Exams this fall. I’m predicting that my SAT II Math level 2 score will be 750+, and my SAT II Chemistry will be 720+.

For MIT, aim for 800 in Math2 and 770 for Chem in SAT2 which are around the median of their admission stat. Anyway, your current ACT score is too low for MIT. The admit rate for ACT 28-30 was 4%, but most of them have better SAT scores and/or spectacular EC. Just with ACT 28 (disregarding the SAT2 scores), it is very unlikely to be admitted.

I’m planning on increasing my ACT score to a 32-34, I’ve taken practice tests and that’s the range of scores I get, I just need to work on timing.

Please also chance me for the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor, University of Southern California, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the Illinois Institute of Technology. Thank you.

Your GPA is just below average for UMich, and your ACT is below 25%. For CoE, you evening need higher scores. Aim for 32 which is the average for UMich CoE.

UMich: low reach
USC: low reach
UIUC: high match

What are my chances for RPI?
Thanks
