Submitted Research Supp for MIT. LOR from my research advisor, he said it was very strong.

Congratulations on your achievements, but I am not sure why you are posting another chance me thread after all your apps are in, just a month after your last chance me thread.

I agree with the feedback on your last thread. Curious as to why you didn’t apply EA to MIT and/or UMich?

As long as you have been accepted to at least one affordable school, all you can do now is wait for the decisions at the reaches listed in your post. I know the wait can be long and stressful, but try to focus on school, your ECs, and enjoying senior year in the meantime.

Good luck.

Amazing achievements. You should be very proud. That said, every one of these schools is a reach and a crap shoot, and all of them reject highest-caliber applicants routinely. Good luck to you. Hopefully you get a hit at one or more of them, but you just can’t know for sure. That’s why everybody, no matter how qualified, needs safeties.

Thank you, I just am pretty nervous with deadlines being so close. My Umich early application was ready, I just forgot to press submit. Carelessness on my part. As far as MIT, if I were to submit the essays and items I had then, I can almost guarantee I would have no chance. I thought I had a much better chance RD as weird as that sounds. I have gotten into all my safeties and some matches so I just have the reaches left. Thank you so much, I will try my best to stay calm until then hahaha.

Thank you very much. I agree they are very much a crapshoot. I have gotten into my safeties so i did not include them on the post.

My thoughts on your chances are exactly the same as when you asked in January.

Your list of schools are very different from each other. My bet: Cornell will accept you. You don’t read like a good fit for northwestern, GaTech, or UMich. MIT is a total roll of dice.

What were your safeties? Just curious.

Clemson University, Texas A&M, ASU, and Virginia Tech
