What are my chances for MIT?

<p>So, what are my chances of getting into MIT? I'm applying EA to MIT.</p>

<p>Background: Asian male, Public school in Massachusetts. </p>

<p>GPA: 4.18 GPA (W) / 3.81 GPA (UW). </p>

<p>Rank: Top 8% (Class Size: 400)</p>

<p>SAT: 2040 (600 Writing, 650 Verbal, 790 Math)
--> retaking in October due to low writing/verbal scores [goal: 2220+]</p>

<p>SAT II's: 790 Math IIC, 780 Math IC, 730 US History, 680 World History
--> taking SAT II's in Physics in November [goal: 700+]</p>

<p>AP's: 5 Comp Sci A, 5 US History, 3 World History
--> taking AP Calculus BC, AP Economics, AP Physics in senior year [goal: 5/5/5]</p>

<p>I'd say you probably won't get into anything above #5, try researching colleges that are actually in your league and then think about where you want to apply. Don't mean to be harsh, just tellin it straight.</p>
