What are my chances for Notre Dame and UNC-Chapel Hill?

<p>I am currently a senior in a public school in Florida.</p>

<p>Weighted GPA: 4.92
Unweighted GPA: 3.89
27th in class of 390 students?
SAT: 1340/2020 (700-CR 640-M 680-W)
AP Exams: Psychology- 5
Human Geography - 5
World History (took as sophomore) - 3
US History - 4
English Language and Comp. - 4
Currently taking: AP Environmental Science, AP European History, Drawing/Painting 2, AP Macroeconomics/Government, Constitutional Law Studies, AP English Literature, and International Relations
Captain of Varsity Cross-Country team (2nd year participating)
1 year of Varsity tennis
1 year of JV track
Secretary of National Honor Society
Member of Spanish Honor Society, Interact Club, 2 years of Green Group and Key Club
80 hours of community service (I forgot to document or I would have had more)
I have had 2 part-time jobs
Just took 3 subject tests (Literature, Math 1 and US history) I hope I did okay =/</p>

<p>UNC is SUPER hard to get into out of state so i’d actually say you have a better chance at ND. I’m applying to UNC too so if you don’t mind chancing me. BTW, id say good chance ND, decent chance UNC.</p>

<p>not at all… I think you have a great shot at Notre Dame, but due to the extreme exclusivity of UNC Chapel Hill for out-of-staters, the SAT makes your chances pretty slight</p>

<p>thanks ammr2014. I’d love to get into Notre Dame! I’m still hopeful about UNC so I guess I’m just stuck waiting 2 months to see.</p>

<p>I think you have a pretty good chance at both schools. I’m applying to UNC OOS as well and I know how nervous you must be…I DEFINITELY am. I think your stats are very strong, but I think I’d say you have a better shot at Notre Dame just because of the OOS thing at UNC. But I also think you have a good shot at UNC.</p>
