<p>Odds are that you’ll improve to 1800-1850. But no, that wouldn’t change your chances for NYU. Even with 1900.1900+ 3.3 would put you in the bottom 20%. A score of 1800 would put you in the bottom 10% – and those all have special circumstances that make them especially desirable to the college, such as being an internationally-famous soloist, a math whizz, a grand chess master, a legacy… - which you’re not.<br>
However, going from 1700 to 1850 would affect merit aid at most other universities I listed so work on that SAT as it could be worth a lot of money down the line.</p>
