I didn't list everything out; I didn't think it would influence my chances a lot. I just listed some important(?) ones.

With an amazing college essay and decent recommendations.
and i am going to try out early decision for NYU stern. Chances please?

your GPA is kinda low for NYU Stern…also your EC’s arent too impressive also.
Your SAT scores are very good. I’d say get your GPA up. College Counselors told me that having a SAT score higher than your GPA shows colleges that you slacked off and its a big nono. But other than that, I think you have a competitive shot.

I think you’re good, if you can get that SAT score. I agree with FearNoEvil about your EC’s though, some of them seem very generic that anyone could do. Perhaps if you volunteer at soup kitchens often, not just for school events or club events. The competitions could help though, if they are significant and/or regional/state/national competitions. Good luck!

Regarding your GPA, isn’t 91 the percentage? I thought the non-percentage ones would be the 0-4 scale. If your average is 91%, then I too, would suggest you get it up to at least 94%.
I think your EC is pretty decent, considering you have some minor ones that you didn’t list. However, it’s impossible to know unless you post the hours that you spent on each one. For example, is soup kitchen an one/two time thing, or something you do on a weekly basis? Your EC seems to be all over the place, and I’m not sure if any of them really stands out. However, it’s hard to judge for me when I don’t know how long/much you have worked at each one.
Overall, I think you stand a pretty good chance for NYU. I’ve certainly seen people with comparable or lower stats get in, although with college admissions there are no guarantees.

yea i agree that i don’t have much ECs… is there anything i can do about it now though?
like the year is almost over an there is a limit as to how much higher my GPA can get… and
this summer i was thinking about volunteering and working so that will add up to my ECs… Oh, and does going to academic summer camps mean much?
