What are my chances for Rutgers NB?

Football (one year varsity)(Burlington County Football Scholar Athlete)

Leadership Training Conference at The College of New Jersey (3 day camp)</p>

<p>Rutgers has always been my first choice. I realize my SATs are low and my GPA is not the greatest, but I have extremely good extra curricular activities.</p>

<p>Unless things have changed in the last two years ECs don’t matter much. What is your class rank? Your SATs are very low for Rutgers. Unless you are in the top tenth or quarter of your class, I think it’s a big reach.</p>

<p>I had abit of a higher GPA and SAT than you. Got waitlisted and wasn’t offered admissions. My GPA when averaged by colleges was a 3.2 and my SAT was 620M/520CR/490W applied to the business school first then the CAS second. I’m in-state also first generation and nope. This was also two years ago too so it probably got harder.</p>

<p>Take the SAT again. Study for it. </p>

<p>Take the ACT, too. Some do better with that.</p>

<p>Use practice books and read the front sections. They give good review and will help you improve your scores.</p>

<p>Do your best to improve your GPA.</p>

<p>if your applying early they wont factor because semester grades usually dont come out until january long past the application deadline</p>

<p>as for the chance i say reach but if you get your SATs up to 1250-1300 (CR+M) ill say match</p>
