what are my chances for rutgers

Hi, I'm new here and I just wanted to know what my chances are for getting into rutgers or seton hall (mostly rutgers). i don't really know how to put this stuff and I'm only a sophmore (junior in september) so i would like some advice for how to improve if you think i can"t get into rutgers. (im tiered i don't feel like actually typing with prooper grammer and spelling so please don't think im a retart by the way i type i actually have a A or B+ averge in english so far)

I have about a 85 averege from my freshman and sophmore year. (not sure exactly what gpa that is), im in all level A classes (the highest next to honors) on my psat i ranked in the top 66 and 67% in the english sections (don't remeber which i had the 66 and which i had the 67 in) and i ranked in the top 77% in the math section. i played football for 2 years and was on the student council my freshman year do you guys think if i had the same sat scores as my psat scores (i no psat don't mean much) and i keep my 85 averge i have a chance at getting into rutgers (or seton hall)

i just asked my friends and i am in all AP classes and if it makes a diffrence i am a egyptian male from new jersey

You didnt know what types of classes you were taking? Ouch.

i did its just that my schools diffrent they say like levels not ap/bp and stuff like that

you'll get in. just about anyone with higher than a 3.0 gets into rutgers from NJ. Half of my high school is going there ...

hey lurker, how much harder is it to get into Rutgers (New Brunswick) if you are out of state?

not quite sure ... check on princetonreview and get a scope. Rutgers really isn't a bad school but its like a joke in my town ... its like the safety for everyone in the top 20+% of the class

alright cause my cousins goign to rutgers on a full scholorship (she had 4.0 gpa and pretty high sat scores, would of went to princton if she had more activities) and my uncle told me that 40,000 people apply but they only accept about 2500

I don't know what your uncle is talking about, but they accept about 60%. They had about 25,500 applicants at Rutgers-NB in 2005. Only about 1/3 of those accepted actually enroll.

to get a full scholarship to rutgers you need like top 5% of class and higher than 1500 on SAT. (you'll get like 1000 a year that way)

edit: nvm i googled it ... http://admissions.rutgers.edu/080101.asp

she was 2nd among her class and had like 1800 on the sat
