I know this is pretty early, but I have some questions! :]

I'm a High School junior in New York. Basically, NYU is my number one choice, it's the perfect school for me. I want to do a major in Music Ed (Vocal), so I want to apply ED to Steinhardt.

GPA: 3.9-ish unweighted (I have A's and A+'s in all my classes except Math. Math has always been hard for me, but I still maintain a B/B+ in it, so it doesn't hurt me too much)

SATs: I'm taking them in May. For the PSATs, I got a 690 on the Verbal part which is pretty good because I didn't study, but a 450 on the Math, which is pretty bad. I've been studying since December though and I've gotten a Math SAT tutor, so I'm planning to bring the verbal to a 750 and the Math to at least a 600, to get a 1350. I'm a pretty great writer, so I think my essay will be good on the SATs, though I hear the writing part isn't really counted, so I'm only considering the Verbal/Math at the moment.

SAT IIs: I'm going to take US History and Literature in June. I'm pretty great in both subjects in school, and I've done pretty well on the practice tests of these, so I think I could get a 650-750 on each.

I've taken quite a few honors/AP classes, I'm on the High Honor Roll in school, and I've gotten awards for my art and photography in school.

Extracurriculars:

Newspaper (9th)
Mixed Choir (10th)
Mixed Choir Section Leader (10th)
Honors Choir (11th)
Art Honors Society (10th/11th)
Treble Women's Choir (selective) (11th)
Music Honor Society (10th/11th)
Key Club (11th)
Private classical singing lessons (9th-11th)
NYSSMA (Vocal)

I'm also taking pretty challenging classes next year for Senior Year:

AP English
SUPA (a type of college credit honors class in NY) Government (first semester) and Economics (second semester)
AP Art
Honors Choir
Psychology (first semester)/Marine Biology (second semester)
Music Theory
Pre-Calc

Sorry for all the extra info, just want to give as much into consideration as I can. :]

So basically, based on how I'm doing and with that much so far (since I don't have a definite SAT/SAT II score yet, or my class ranking), if I can get my SATs this May to around a 1350 between Math/Verbal, do you think I have an okay chance at Steinhardt if I apply ED next year? Thank you so much! :]
