Hi!
I am currently a high school junior and I want to major in Computer Science! I know Stevens is really good school but is it good for CS if yes what are my chances. So here are my stats:
Weighted GPA: 93
SAT: Haven’t taken yet (what score is required)
I am in National Honor Society
I’m taking 3 AP classes next year (AP Physics, AP Stats, AP Macroeconomics)
I take other Advanced Classes too.
Rank: 77 out of 275
Do i have to take SAT subject test?
What are the required courses?
What are my chances?
Thanks!
Hello-
No subject tests are required for the CS program. Not sure that there are any required courses, although it probably helps if you do well in your math courses.

From the Stevens website under the “Undergraduate Admissions” tab:
Recommended Coursework
Your academic record should show satisfactory performance in the following areas, depending upon your chosen major of study.
For Engineering, Computer Science, the Applied Sciences, and Quantitative Finance:
Four years of English.
Four years of mathematics (one year of algebra; one year of geometry; one year of pre-calculus; and one year of calculus).
Three years of science (biology, chemistry and physics).
Average GPA and Test Scores
Stevens has no minimum GPA or test score requirement. Successful applicants in recent incoming classes had an average GPA of 3.8 (out of 4.0) and SAT scores in the range of 1260 to 1400. GPAs and test scores are only two indicators of your potential success at Stevens. We consider all of your application materials in making our admissions decisions.
Thanks @Engineer80 I did not see the recommended coursework. I think the SAT scores are on target, in my experience. More ~1400-1500 if you want to get into scholarship/honors program.
