You realize that only UCLA and UCI offer Nursing and with a 3-4% acceptance rate, they are Super Reaches.
For SDSU and CSU Fullerton, you need an EI of 4500+ for the direct admit Nursing program. You may be able to get into CSU Fullerton as an Undeclared or other major, but trying to apply to Nursing program after 2 years will be just as competitive as CSULB which you asked out in your other thread.
Your CSU/UC GPA is below average for all the UC’s on your list and your SAT score is on the low side for many of the UC’s.
What is your planned major for the UC’s that do not offer Nursing?
UC Freshman admit rate for UC GPA (capped weighted) and not major specific, just to give you an idea of their competitiveness:
Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.40-3.79:
UCB: 2%- High Reach
UCLA: 3%- High Reach
UCSD: 6%- High Reach
UCD: 15%- Reach
UCSB: 14%- Reach
UCI: 13%- Reach
UCSC: 59%- High Match to Low Reach
UCR: 78%- Match to High Match
UCM: 92%- Match
25th - 75th percentiles for SAT:
UCB: 1280-1490
UCLA: 1280-1500
UCSD: 1250-1470
UCSB: 1290-1450
UCD: 1190-1430
UCI: 1190-1420
UCSC: 1170-1380
UCR: 1090-1310
UCM: 1020-1230
You should consider some of the less selective Cal States but remember Nursing is impacted and competitive at all CSU’s and UC’s.
You might want to consider some OOS options such as Arizona State and Oregon State.
Good Luck and consider some realistic options.
i hate to rain on your parade but, the only school on your list likely to accept you is Fullerton - and that’s if you dont apply as a nursing major. Channel Island probably…
