<p>Thank you very much! 1 question: since I was so close to a 35… (34.25), is that score going to be stronger than someone who gets a 33.5? I hope so.</p>

<p>Stanford, Yale, duke , Harvard and upenn are reached everything else’s are matches chance me <a href=“http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1583468-do-i-have-chance-will-chance-back.html[/url]”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1583468-do-i-have-chance-will-chance-back.html&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

<p>About whether or not the 34.25 will look better than a 33.5…I don’t think so. That’s kind of like splitting hairs. It’s not a huge difference! And since these schools rate holistically I don’t think it’ll make a difference in whether or not you get admitted. Don’t stress about it.
Whoa, how do you have above a 5.0 GPA?
Overall, everything looks great! If you are rejected from any of the top colleges, it will be because you don’t really have a story. They get applications from other great debaters/public speakers with the stats you have. It might be kind of a toss up between you and them. Might come down to your essays and teacher recs.
University of South Carolina: safety
Clemson University: safety
UNC Chapel Hill: match
Duke: low reach to reach
Emory: match
Vanderbilt: low reach
WashU St. Louis
Stanford: reach
Yale: reach
UPenn: reach
Harvard: reach
If you applied ED/EA/SCEA to any of the top colleges it should help you.
Good luck!</p>

<p>You’re facing a very tough applicant pool for most of the universities. You have good extracurriculars, but they’re not necessarily activities that will set you apart from all the applicants (Being above average is not good enough). I’m going to echo the above poster. Since you have some credentials that a lot of others probably do not, it should help you somewhat.</p>
