University of Michigan–Ann Arbor--slight reach

Northeastern--match

Your stats are similar to my son's, although he took the IB diploma curriculum--which you didn't, but his SATs are probably lower than yours will be (his were 1790/2400, 1260/1600).

He applied to Indiana (accepted and attending), NYU (rejected), Fordham (waitlisted), Pittsburgh (accepted), Purdue (accepted), Bentley (accepted), and Oregon (accepted). He is a business major, (finance), and considered history or film as other possible majors. He was captain of his sailing team, and was also involved in the Interact club, and beach cleanup/ecology measures here in California. NYU was his first choice, Indiana his second.

I only mention this because you should look at some of the schools he applied to as well as Washington, Colorado, Michigan, Northeastern, USF, Penn State, and Boston University. (After he was all done, he said he wished he had also applied to Michigan and Boston Univ)--although he is happy at Indiana.

I still might have a better chance with fordham though
cause
their best program is probably their business and I think it's their hardest school to get into on rosehill.

Umm
i gonna take a ton of ACT prep
and take the test as many times as possible
so like if i got a 34 or 35
that would probably up my scores alot

anyway
i would probably just apply to the liberal arts and scienes college and it's probably the easiest one of them to get into.

If i get a few more extra curriculars in it might help too
and i think being a national merit scholar semi finalist would help

Yes, if you got a 34 or 35 on the SAT and applied to Fordham for History, I'd say you are definitely a match--maybe even safe match.

The one thing you need to realize is that a lot of students apply to Fordham just because it is in New York City. For this reason, the number of applicants is quite high, and the acceptance rate is only around 50%--which is quite low considering the average GPA of the incoming class is around 3.4 UW.

yeah
i dont get what it is with PR
usnews and their website saying its 3.7...
maybe weighted, but most people i see getting in have like a 3.4 ish

and yeah
my school is trying to get approved for IB right now...
and
Where exactly did ur son go to school...Local to sacramento area.
Im in Granite Bay.

Bumpity double bump
