What are my chances for these schools????

i think you'll have an advantage to some sort, you are in state and georgia tech is public. i'd say you could get in, but it'd be a tough life.

OK, I'll bite just remember I don't have a crystal ball, nor does anyone else here.

But, here are your strengths: you're an URM, you have a decent rank, you have a work history (shows dedication and responsibility), your EC's are not bad at all (however, you need to describe the most important ones more effectively on your application --- for instance, what does "multicultural committee" mean? You might think about attaching a one page resume that does this.

Your weaknesses: no math senior year (may be a negative for more competitive engineering programs), weak GPA, only so-so SAT math scores (again, a potential negative for the more competitive engineering programs).

Since you mention something about being a "preferred candidate" for Santa Clara and Tulane, why aren't they on your list? You might also take a look at Trinity University in Texas - excellent physics program, strong engineering school (check on civil engineering)

Anyhow, for the schools already on your list, here's how I see your chances shaking out:

Duke- high reach, maybe a 30% chance of acceptance if applying RD
Vanderbilt - reach, but not as high as Duke. They'll appreciate your URM status. I'd give you a 40% chance of acceptance applying RD
GA Tech - high reach, maybe a 20-30% chance due to your math grades and lack of math in senior year
Clemson - safety - probably will get in
Auburn - match, good chance - say 60% - of acceptance
U of Florida - match but slightly less chance than Auburn.

Again, no crystal ball here - so I hope you prove me wrong on all counts. Good luck.

i do have a math look again( honors stats/ calculs.
