Need Financial aid

Applying to:

Harvard
MIT
Princeton
Stanford
Yale
Caltech
Cornell

What are my chances? Thanks.

bump........

Your all around academic greatness makes me sick ;-)

Bumpin' for sure

Richtra, I'll take that as a compliment. But I am worried that my sub-par SAT scores + international status + need for finaid + no hook will get me rejected from all the universities I am applying to.

Anyone else would like to give me a comment / feedback?

International competition is very competitive at the very top (HYPMS). Your SATs, while good, are around the 50% line for those schools, and international applicants usually are almost perfect in this regard. You are very well qualified for many top schools, but you are aiming for top 5 schools, and like you said, subpar sats (in context) + intl status will hurt. However, you have a good chance at Cornell.

Thank you Karl Marks.

Anyone else?

international need based aid from cornell is more than stingy..almost imposible
