What are my chances for transferring to UC Berkeley from CC?

Had a very rough time deciding on my career path. Thinking of applying to UCB for the chance. Will be applying as either a philosophy or psychology major. Just want to see if I have at all close to a decent shot. If not, I'll more than likely TAG to UC Davis. Also will be applying to University of Washington, UCLA, UCSB, University of Puget Sound, and SF State.

I'll start with the weak spots:

I have a 3.55 GPA.

My second semester, I've gotten 4 Cs and a B. The rest of my classes are As. The trouble is, also have 11 Ws, from switching from class to class, deciding what I want to do with my life, spread fairly throughout all my semesters. Went through depression and strong bouts of anxiety as an out-state student.

A few months ago, am very happy I've decided to become a teacher in the future, something I'd find a strong calling and passion for.

My strong suites:

Managed the money of all the club programs and allocation processes on campus.

Participated in student gov't for 5 semesters in a row, was in all of the committees there (budget, sustainability, diversity, activities, PR, rules)

President/chair of the organization that manages all aspects of the club programs.

Creating a scholarship program that rewards students funds for completing projects in each academic division at the moment, by working with faculty and staff.

Will representing my college's Model United Nations at UC Davis and UCLA. Have been to UCSB and UC Davis as a delegate.

Participant of 8 clubs regularly: Chemistry, Psychology, Poetry, PBL, Consulting (VP and project manager), Muslim Student Alliance, MUN, Horticulture.

Am attending community college further south here of CA. It'd be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly!

Your strengths outweigh your weaknesses by a lot. You went through a tough period in your life and as long as you stress that in your essays, colleges won’t take that into consideration. You have a great story and you are going to be an excellent teacher no matter where you go. Because, in my opinion, psychology/philosophy are kind of a mix between science and english (subject wise), you should probably consider some Sat II’s in those subjects or just any subject that you have a natural interest in. Schools like UCB want to see you do well in those tests.

I have a story that, in some ways, has similarities to yours. We both went through some tough times where academia just would not work out. I’d appreciate it so much for some feedback on a chance post I had the other day. The link is down below if you choose to comment. You’re going to be a success anywhere. I know it! Good luck!
