<p>I applied there early action. I have a 3.8 unlighted GPA and a 34 on my ACT.
I feel that my common app was an 8/10 common app and 9/10 supplement</p>
<p>I have done robotics for around 4000 hrs over the four years of high school, gone to ICDC for DECA, been first horn @ my high school for 4 years, and have held a summer internship studying bio-controls. I also started a paper recycling program for my old elementary school and have done a bunch of outreach for my robotics club. </p>
<p>I am really worried...</p>

No normal person can ever be a match for UChicago. Especially not someone with an imperfect 3.8 unweighted GPA, a lack of hooks, and no rank 7+ prestigious awards.</p>
<p>@Mangiafuoco if you think that an “perfect GPA” and “7+ prestigious awards” are what will get you into a great college, you’re in for a surprise…</p>
<p>I personally know 2 people who are in UChicago 2018 who dont have perfect GPAs or teat scores…they were just passionate and unique and showed that through their essays…if you’re applying to UChicago, I advise you to do the same.</p>
